Pew Awards $2.5 Million to Advance Economic Mobility in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA — North10 Philadelphia has been awarded a $1 million grant from The Pew Charitable Trusts to support the development of affordable housing in the Hunting Park–East Tioga neighborhood.

The funding will help expand access to safe, affordable homes while advancing North10’s broader neighborhood revitalization efforts, which focus on housing stability, economic opportunity and community well-being.

Leaders say the investment will strengthen long-term efforts to create equitable housing opportunities and improve quality of life for residents in one of North Philadelphia’s historically underserved communities.
