North10 Health Center @ Carman Gardens
The Carman Gardens historic site is set to become a cornerstone of community well-being, featuring up to 22,000 square feet of commercial space dedicated to comprehensive community health services. In partnership with the Greater Philadelphia Health Action, the North10 Health Center @ Carman Gardens will cater to various health needs, offering a wide range of healthcare services and resources for the local community. The site’s focus on health services will ensure convenient access to medical care and support for residents, contributing to overall community well-being and quality of life.

10th Street Community Market
The 10th Street Community Market was created to meet the needs of our community, as 66% of residents identified food access as a long-term problem in a strategic plan facilitated by North10. Our goal is to address this inequity by increasing access to food in an underserved community. We aim to provide a clean, welcoming space with trained staff, an inventory that reflects community needs, and a choice format that respects each individual’s dignity.
Family and Parenting Program
Family and parenting services are designed to provide essential resources and information for new parents. These services includes a supply of pampers, baby wipes, and formula to help alleviate the financial burden of purchasing these necessities. In addition, Community Baby Showers and parenting workshops are offered to equip parents with valuable knowledge and skills in child-rearing, including topics such as infant care, nutrition, and developmental milestones.
Open Gym
Our gym has a full-size basketball court that can be split into two smaller, full-court halves. It is available for Open Gym Basketball free of charge. The schedule can be found in the Community Calendar section of our website.
Community Space
The Lenfest Center is available to community partners and other service providers interested in bringing resources to our neighbors. We have classrooms, the gym, a conference room, and a community room. For more information on availability and rates, e-mail info@north10phl.org.
